I Give you all the attention you could ever need, and yet you turn me away. I tell you every word I know you want to hear, and yet you close your ears. I give you honesty,sympathy and kindness and your eyes look at me as if I were the devil.
And so I ask.. If I were to turn away my attention and remove my outstretched hand, would you then turn to me?
If I took back my heart and kept it for myself, would it make you want it?
If I lied and became uncaring and unkind, would you then want me?
Of course you would, because you always want what you can't have!
I am me, I won't change, for anyone, not even you! No matter how much I long for you.
My heart is strong,but my character is stronger.
